Who We Are and What We do …..The founder-members of Seaton Healing Centre are Judy, Ann, Kath, Rob and Michaela. We also have other friends and healers who give of their time freely in order to help.  We are a non-profit making group of like-minded spiritual people whose main aims in opening the Seaton Healing Centre are to bring healing and spiritual comfort to those suffering from physical, mental and emotional distress, and to improve the quality of life of the local community. If you don’t feel you want or need healing, we also offer a place in which you can relax and enjoy tranquil music and meditation. Just the thing to end a stressful week and prepare you for a more relaxed and enjoyable weekend.

Registration …..You will be asked to sign in on arrival – this is so we can keep a record of attendance and also for Health & Safety Regulations.  You will also be given a small card as you enter the hall. Register with us by completing this card with your name, address and telephone number (and email address if you have one) and any specific problems you require help for (all personal details are kept completely confidential). We can then keep you up to date with forthcoming events and also keep a healing record.

Donations …..We give our time and energy free of charge.  All we ask is for a minimum donation of £1 per person to cover our main cost of hiring the hall – of course you may give as much as you wish, as all donations go into our funds for future events and to cover some of our larger out-of-pocket expenses. WE NEED YOUR DONATIONS TO KEEP US GOING – WITHOUT DONATIONS WE WOULD CEASE TO EXIST – PLEASE SUPPORT US AS MUCH AS YOU CAN AS OUR LOTTERY FUNDING HAS NOW BEEN USED UP AND IN ORDER TO CONTINUE WE NEED TO BE FINANCIALLY SELF-SUFFICIENT.

Healing …..Healing can come in many forms …. there may not always be a cure, but there is always healing, be it of Mind, Body or Spirit.  All our healers are qualified and experienced. We are pleased and privileged to have such dedicated people to give of themselves so freely.  Even if you choose not to have one-to-one healing, or if we run out of time before your turn comes, please rest assured that the divine healing energy channelled through our healers on the platform will permeate the room and will benefit all present in one way or another. Please be aware that the healer you have may vary from week to week. Many of our healers also offer various complementary therapies (outside of the Centre) such as Reiki and Angelic Reiki, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Hopi Ear Candling, Indian Head Massage and various other therapeutic massage techniques. (Please ask for a price list if you are interested in booking a private session.) After your healing, please feel free to rejoin the relaxation and meditation circle.We respectfully ask that you wait until the refreshment time to chat, but if you must speak please keep voices very low during the healing sessions so those receiving healing can fully relax and maximum benefit can be experienced by them.

Absent Healing …..If you know anyone who is in need of healing, and who cannot come to the Centre in person, please put their names and, if you wish, a short description of their problem, in the blue “ABSENT HEALING” book on our Reception desk, and you can rest assured that healing prayers and thoughts will be sent to them.

Refreshments (9.15pm to 9.45pm)…..Water is free, tea, coffee, juice and biscuits are provided for a small donation of 30p per person.  Occasionally we have scones, cakes etc on offer also, at a small additional charge.

Future Events …..When funds allow, we invite guest speakers and demonstrators, and hope also to hold separate workshops if there is a demand.  We may also be able to introduce other subjects and therapies. These may include Crystal Healing, Dowsing, Aromatherapy, Light, Sound Healing & Chakra Balancing with Voice and Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls, Hypnotherapy & Past Life Regression, and other Healing modalities, etc etc. Please let us know if there is any therapy or subject you are particularly interested in and we will try to include it. Also, if you have particularly enjoyed one of our guest speakers and would like them to give another talk,  please tell us and we will try to arrange a return visit.
